Welcome to the Pirate Shack

Creating a Pirate Yard Project

Coming up the walk

I began this project by trimming overgrown bushes, relocating pavers and using resources I already had plus mulch and some new flowers

The Pirate Shack

We wanted an outdoor space to entertain and relax so I figured that the most economic way to start was to use my canopy. The wood rails were used from a previously painted project so I had to paint them black.. Much of the wood was procured by dumpster diving at construction sites.

 Boucan and Boat Shed

This is my version of a buccaneer boucan to cook our meat. It is still in work...have to install some pavers for the grill and cook to stand on.

Harpoon

A harpoon may not be very piratey but I made it a few years ago and thought it would add to the nautical feel

Pirate Town Signs

In case you get lost this sign should point you in the right direction for your destination

Back View of the Pirate Shack

We have lots of tropical plant which help hide out pirate camp.

           Isabella the Cannon

Every Pirate Camp should have a cannon for protection

This project is in the building stage....I'll post more as I complete sections.
