Our instructors are the writers, artists, journalists and mariners of the Age-of-Sail. Those who documented the daily life and wrote the stories of the special breed of mariner who made their living by taking from others while enjoying a democratic life style few others of their time knew.

We are an open university and invite other pirate scholars to share their knowledge by submitting pirate courses of study to be included in the university curriculum.
